I bought this dress with Navy Orange Spring print. It was difficult for me to tell what the print was - it's mostly dark red with black dots. I wanted black but it's $38 for M and it was $11 so I went for $11 lol. For the fit I have a pear shape - like a very small top (doesn't exist). I'm also about 5ft 105lbs so not very tall. I'm also in my 40s and have never felt comfortable in clothes that are too tight. So I found the XS too narrow for my taste. To be clear, it fit well and slid down my stomach, but I just prefer looser clothes. It's better to have clothes that I will actually wear than clothes that I know will be uncomfortable to wear! I ended up getting the M and it's probably too big (a bit loose all over) but still looks good so I'm keeping it. To be honest an S would probably be the perfect size for me but now I have room for holiday dinners! (Hehe) :-) As for the length, it's just above the knees, which suits me perfectly. I don't find armholes weird even in M for my body. The fabric is thin but also thicker than some cheap dresses. There's a slight stretch, so if you're comfortable with a slightly tighter fit, the stretch will likely work for you. Not lined, not transparent. Last time it smelled a little funny but the laundry will take care of that. Hope that helps.
