There really isn't much to say about interchangeable helmets. I love my Optrel welding helmet and wish I had a few more because if I show my people some techniques I won't get so upset about giving them cheap helmets. I can only comment on a few things about the interchangeable shields here, as I love helmets. At first I had a stack of spare shields somewhere, but as we were moving the objects I seemed to have lost the stack somewhere, so I needed them now. I usually have acetone somewhere so I can quickly clean it before I start sewing. On my final shield, I wiped the shield with a nearby acetone soaked paper towel and my weld was complete. This isn't a problem as it's a plastic part that doesn't like acetone. Therefore, keep acetone or materials wetted with acetone away from screens. The second comment I have is that I love shopping at Revain because I mostly buy Revain Prime. Products. Unfortunately, these shields are not available on Revain Prime so you will have to wait 1-2 weeks for them, so order them in advance. These two comments do not reflect the product itself, but rather some conditions that you must be aware of.
