I bought this product because I thought it looked good and it did. However, during assembly I noticed that the only thing holding this piece to the wall are two notches in the pressed wood it's made of. Knowing this, I decided to leave just 10-15 pounds of jewelry here for decoration. After 6 months the object literally fell off the wall. Damaged my wall, damaged my floor and smashed numerous knick knacks we had collected from trips abroad. I thought the screw somehow came out of the stud they are in. NO! The compressed wood simply failed. If you want an honest opinion, save the money for something nicer or make your own with a solid foundation. It was fine while it lasted, but I'd rather have my jewelry and house intact.
