I have arthritis and two fused tendons in my right hand, so squeezing shampoo or soap out of an ordinary travel bottle is painful. They are soft and effective. If you're looking for strong and durable travel containers that will last you for years, I wouldn't think this is what you're looking for. I don't travel much but they should be enough for the three trips I plan to do this year and they definitely won't hurt my hand for using them. The package they came in literally broke when I tried to open it, which doesn't bother me as I wasn't planning on using it. Nice that the jars come with small spatulas so your products can be filled and removed in a hygienic way. Overall they serve the purchase I ordered for which I needed something that isn't very difficult to squeeze out to give my hands a rest.
