Product reviews were mixed due to sizing being true to size or too small. My mother always told me to go up a coat size, which I did. This product conforms to the stated measurements. These measurements make this coat WAY big. I'm usually between 1X so I ordered 2X and it's huge for me. For example, you could put your child in this coat with me, so I know it's more than just one size. I wasn't comfortable trusting the sizing as some people said the coat was too small so I went for 2X. Judging by the size, XL would have been fine for me, so I probably should have ordered 1X a size up. I couldn't put the coat on as it was too big and seemed as fluffy and warm as I had hoped. The fluffiness is not as thick as I imagined. Other people said it was warm, but I still didn't think it would help much in the Wisconsin winter. The hood and faux fur were very soft and the zipper was strong.
