Review on Kipling Womens Emelia Crossbody Dynamic Women's Handbags & Wallets by Stacy Harris

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The quality seems to have deteriorated

The first thing I noticed when I took the bag out of the packaging was that the fabric wasn't from was the same quality as the weight of the old Kipling bags. Much lighter (not bad) but just lacks the quality of old bags. Back then, the Kipling logo label on the front of the bag was definitely a cheaper logo. We'll see how it holds up over time and how easy it is to machine wash/dry old bags. I've had a lot of Kiplings and they seem to last forever. I'm not sure about newer versions. The first Kipling I bought was the Alvar which I still own today and the difference in quality is clear.

Pros
  • Pockets: 2 patch, 2 zippers, 1 external
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
