I had a hunch this was going to happen. The way the clasp closes the case tightly. If you don't put pressure on the back, the hinge will break just by snapping the latch. The case is made of really strong plastic. The loop is a small piece of wire that holds part of the clamp. The plastic that makes up the clip isn't strong enough and will break if you don't close the hose all the way and push a little on the back. It just clicked in my hands and the camera wasn't even in my pocket. So be careful!
