Good idea, cheap version. After unpacking (slightly damaged), the cheap hard plastic case had several linear tears. The magnifying glass was worn out. So I got the bug trap out anyway because my son was looking forward to it. The catcher does not open wide enough to catch mobile bugs. And the hatches are thick so you can't catch bugs on flat/hard surfaces without crushing them. You have to catch them in the grass or use tweezers to catch them. My son liked it despite the spoiled cheap material and design flaws. So I haven't bothered to review it, but this isn't a set that will last long. So I didn't order again. I think it's just another comeback.
