I should have taken a closer look and measured my chair seat before buying. The pillow itself is very well made, too bad it didn't work for us. The cushion is very small in my opinion and I think if it fits perfectly on the seat of your chair or has no border then it's safe. It had plenty of room around the perimeter for my chair and I was afraid my granddaughter would get nervous and fall over. It didn't suit me at all. In the photo it is a very small chair. The reviews show higher quality photos which I obviously didn't look at until I ordered. I returned it with no problems.
