I wanted something simple to show proper table setting and looked at a few options before choosing. You are correct and charming, but not fussy. They are quite heavy but don't last much more than a session or two because we're dirty. Finally I wrapped some transparent contact paper to make them more durable; We use these laminated ones for family dinners. I think the originals will still come in handy for everyday use if you're willing to keep replacing them, or they might be especially useful for big parties.
