Gift to a 7 year old who loved it! The weight range for this was perfect for her, and for half an hour she was bouncing all over the place (wearing a bike helmet, of course!). A child who isn't great at activities that require good balance may take a little longer to adjust, but if they skate, skateboard, or surf (whatever they do), they'll settle in quickly. as long as you buy the right version for your weight. It appears to be well built and sturdy, and very good quality for the price.
