I used a brand new AF-P 18-55 VR lens when I took it in May for 30 dollars. In a nutshell, an excellent camera for people just starting out. There is no need for instructions because the camera itself contains a comprehensive manual that explains each function in great detail. In addition, an automatic mode that is acceptable (which I do not use). The camera is also appropriate for use by amateur photographers. If you utilize modes that are only semi-automatic, then the control will be quite easy to operate. You can modify the parameters that you use most frequently with just a few mouse clicks. You will have to navigate through the menu in order to access the less significant options, as there are no discrete buttons because there is no requirement for them. The camera has a fairly user-friendly design overall. Get over it. Even when using the whale lens, which is a more obscure option, the camera performs adequately when used in low light. The upper limit of a suitable ISO is quite high, which is something I did not anticipate from a camera designed as a tutorial for beginners: At 800, the picture is absolutely clear; at 1600, there are barely noticeable noises that can be easily removed in lightroom; at 3200, the camera is already noticeably noisy, but the lightroom is also easy to correct, and the details are practically not eaten up; at 6400, the noise is already significant; of course, you can remove the noise with lightroom, but then the details are already blurred. I didn't even bother trying out huge values because I deemed it superfluous. Even with the brightness set to its middle level, the display on the camera can be read even when exposed to direct sunlight, making it possible to use the Live View mode. The camera's primary area of weakness is its inability to take continuous shots. The maximum number of frames that can be stored in the buffer is seven, despite the fact that the rate of firing is five frames per second, which is excellent in comparison to rivals such as the 1200D and the 1300D. After that, you'll need to hold your breath as the camera writes the photographs to the card. Because it is impossible to take pictures of moving things in a "queue" in order to pick the best one afterwards, the camera cannot be used for this purpose. The line will go forward very quickly. In general, purchasing the camera is a good investment. Of course, digital single-lens reflex cameras, or DSLRs, are not intended to have zoom ranges of 35x, 50x, or 83x like soap dishes, which can put off a lot of people. However, the picture quality of a DSLR cannot be compared to that of more than one soap dish that has a standard 1:2.3 matrix.
