You really do get what you pay for. It's a good price and quality but the fact is this jacket only looks good if it hasn't been washed. After a few washes it starts to look dull and if your child puts it in a playground with mulch/wood shavings and one day it falls off the jacket will be ruined. I spent over an hour trying to get the junk out of my jacket and just gave up. This type of jacket will last longer for an older child/adult who doesn't ride in mud/debris and doesn't need to be washed often.
