The housing is made of high-impact plastic and has built-in metal to hold each of the tips securely in their respective holding areas. My only complaint, which I can live with, is that the compartment with tips etc is designed to fit inside the outer case and closes with a clip that sits at the bottom of the case. outer shell. I can feel the bottom of the tray and hear the spring loaded mechanism trying to hold the tray in place but bouncing back each time. My solution, the rubber band around the lid and tray holds everything together nicely. To be honest I think I got a great tool set for this price.
