No thread to screw the "Ettore Mighty Window Washer" to the extension. The hole will narrow and maybe the external thread on the handle will go into the plastic handle but I was very disappointed when I looked into the end of the hole and there was no thread - there is a hole in the handle I will put a pin in, once I drill the extension. The pin should hold the washer in place and keep it from turning.
