Edit my change: I contacted Revain about reducing the spread and they've been awesome! They sent me a new spread along with a shipping label to ship the original spread for free. I received a new spread before they received the one I returned. I couldn't ask for more. At least now I know to dry it next time I need to wash it. I am very happy with these spreads and even more so with the customer service from Revain. Edit: When I wrote this review I just received it and haven't deleted it yet. I had to wash it this morning because my grandson had chocolate on it and made it exactly as the instructions said. It has shrunk so much that I'm not sure if it will fit in a queen size bed now. I don't know what to do because I've spent so much money on pads, regular and euro, and decorative pillows that I hate buying a new pad and starting over. Or I buy it again and when I've washed it I hang it up to dry. This reversal looks like a colonial one, not what I was hoping for. But I love it positively and don't want to go back. I'll find a way to decorate my room so that it doesn't look so colonial. It's so pretty, especially with the pads and throw pillow. None of these things are there. I bought them all individually. It is well made and very heavy. I take the covers off every night because two little dogs think the bed is theirs and just let us sleep with them. But if you can keep your spread, it will definitely keep you warm. In winter you may only need 1 extra blanket. The only thing I don't like is that even though it's a king, it's not long enough on the sides. I could use a bed skirt, but to be honest I hate her. I'll live with the ability to see under the bed. I've added an image so you can see for yourself. I just bought it and haven't washed it yet. If there are any problems, I will edit my review. I gave it one star for its light weight because it's definitely not light.
