This bag arrived very well protected. The skin was wrapped in tissue paper and the metal fittings were protected with plastic wrap, all in a cloth pouch inside a plastic bag (3 layers). The bag itself is very beautiful. It's all leather, a beautiful rich brown, and shiny silver hardware. It has two large outside pockets (one with zip and one with buckle). Inside it has a large main compartment with a large zip pocket, two pen slots and 2 compartments on one side; and a padded laptop compartment with Velcro closure on the other side (my 14" Dell laptop has a bit more room). found no flaws in materials or workmanship, no unnatural bumps in the leather, all stitching is straight and tight, hardware is of good quality, all zippers work smoothly, but there are a few things that could be improved. In principle, a padded laptop compartment could benefit from additional padding. There is only a seal between the main compartment and the laptop, but neither on the bottom nor on the outside. Of course, you probably won't toss this bag around like a backpack, but still, your expensive device deserves more protection than it offers: soft microfiber lining and it would be nice to have its own iPad/tablet pocket. Overall the case is very pretty and good quality at a very reasonable price but I wish it could better protect my expensive electronics.
