Great shoes in style, fit and quality but there is a problem of slippery soles when wet. If you are "age", be careful. I wore walking shoes etc, went shopping a few weeks before the rain; everything was good. We then soaked well, and after paddling through the Walmart parking lot and entering the store, I slipped into the store a few times (the floor was dry, but the sole of the shoe remained slippery on the ball of the foot in between the steps (which certainly seem adequate - I think that spot between the steps is slippery (I've also slipped a couple of times on my own kitchen floor after stepping outside on wet leaves etc) the first pair of Easy Spirit sneakers were totally reliable in wearing them now I only use them when the weather is dry, if I hadn't worn them for two weeks I would have sent them back.
