I bought these cupping cups because I suffer from severe back pain. I'm familiar with the glass method but it's old school from the Soviet Union where they use glass beakers and literally set you on fire. I went for the safer option and just used the silicone suction cups which, as described, are of course hygienic and easy to clean, better than the glass ones I got. My mom is an acupuncturist so she does cupping daily and when I showed them to her she told me they were great quality. The whole idea behind cupping is to suction tissue that helps relieve stagnant blood flow through negative pressure. I really like natural holistic methods so I decided to invest in my own 4 suckers. I also like their size.
