Review on Acer G246HL Abd 24" LED Monitor - 1920X1080, 60Hz, Tilt Adjustment by William Woodruff

Great monitor so far, really great for the price. I ordered another one for a dual monitor setup. To address the issues others have noted: - Viewing angles are good, horizontally better than many monitors I've used, vertically not as good, but who wants to see their monitor from below/above like that? - So far I have absolutely no problems with the image quality. Colors are excellent, no dead pixels, good response time in games. In terms of brightness, the monitor is very bright, but to complain about that is very silly since it's easy to adjust. The stand is a bit flimsy, sometimes wobbling when I'm typing on my desk, and the tilt function (yes, it TILT) doesn't offer very much reach, but it's a good viewing angle for me. - No HDMI, not sure why you expect that. It doesn't say anywhere that it has HDMI, and just because it says an HD monitor doesn't mean you should expect one. DVI to HDMI adapters are under $10 on Amazon. The power adapter squeaks a little, that's the only problem I've noticed so far. It wasn't noticeable until the power adapter was right in front of you on your desk, and it made no noise when the monitor was in standby. Overall I am very happy with this monitor. . I also ordered a monitor mount, this monitor seems like a good choice for mounting, it is VERY light.
