I bought a Seiko 5 watch which came with a nylon NATO strap. I like NATOs, but I wanted something a bit more traditional for this watch. I ordered several leather bands from several well known companies, but I never felt that I found THE one.And then I bought this strap based on my desire for a single piece of leather without ornamental stitching. Wow, this was the strap that I should have bought first. Right out of the package it feels years old, and I mean that in a good way. The half with the buckle holes is so pliable and soft that it inserts into the first fixed keeper with no effort. On the other straps that I bought, this was really hard and I felt that I could tear the keeper from the stretching that it took to get the strap through it. The strap also comes with a spare floating keeper, which is the thing that usually fails first.Bottom line, I'm going to order another strap just incase. I don't want to need another only to find it unavailable someday.
