I bought a set of V-Moda Crossfade LP2 headphones and was aware that many reviews said the original cable was not of good quality and after a short period of time the cable would short out. I decided to just buy a cable and chose Ivanka. I don't use my headphones portable, only at home, and I don't like those short 3 inch cables. I need an 8ft cord so I can move around the room without removing my headphones. I would go with the Anker brand but they didn't sell an 8 inch cable so I did. Ivanky is actually a pretty good quality cable. The cable isn't very stiff, it's easy to move around, and the 8 foot length gives me the space I need. It uses strong and durable 24k gold-plated connectors that ensure a secure connection for headphones and headphone amps. However, I do find it odd that Ivanki chose a PVC jacket and the cord is very thin, especially for an 8ft size! The sound quality with this cable is excellent, it is clear that the cable is capable of handling all the power that these headphones require from the amplifier. However, I would have liked a thicker cable and a real rubber jacket. But the quality seems there and sounds good, so I have to give it a solid 5 stars out of 5.
