I had a sample last fall and I also had a jar of another good quality cream but it ran out so I tried this one. That's great; It smells like a sleep sickle which is amazing and the scent fades very quickly but is wonderfully moisturizing for mature skin at night. I use Laduer's DaYWear every day, it's one of the best moisturizers out there, and have used Revitalist at night, but this is even better. As it gets cooler and drier I'll be sure to use it day and night, but it's really solid even in the summer for keeping skin hydrated. It's emollient enough that I don't need an eye cream and highly recommend it. It might have been too rich in my 20s or 30s, but in my late 40s I find it a wonderful addition to my skincare routine. If your skin is so dry it almost hurts to smile, use this. Not cheap but worth every penny. Don't buy a sample - buy a cream and if you don't like it you can return it. However, if you have dry skin on your face, I doubt you will.
