DO NOT BUY. The latch is easily removed from the latch pin. I bought two of these, this was my first and although it initially worked after 2 or 3 uses as I only use it when I take it to my local sports bar for a UFC fight once a month, the lock just pops off . I only found out after locking and pulling to make sure it was secure, unfortunately it wasn't. I bought a second one thinking the lock was defective and in fact the second one does the same thing. It doesn't matter which bobby pin you use, it's not a problem; This is the actual locking mechanism, not holding the bolt. All you have to do is wiggle it diagonally with a slight pull and the Bamm will pop out of the lock. DO NOT BUY trash design.
