I've read a lot of reviews about cycling gear which is basically useless junk. Here's something useful for you. I'm 5'8" and 180. I'm strong, not skinny, no stomach and big legs - 32" inseam. I usually wear LG in Pearl Izumi, Craft, Voler etc. I needed tights for gravel/mountain biking in winter weather and saw no reason to spend 150.00 for something that could get ripped/ripped by rocks, rose hips, undergrowth etc ., so I decided to give it a try. Like everyone, I got them in the mail and unlike most people I immediately smeared the appropriate amount of suede onto the "diaper" and climbed inside. Then I made a 100k gravel breaker fit for racers - following the general guidelines for racers. The leg length was perfect - no extra materials, neither too long nor too short. The straps fit well, not too tight, not loose. I would describe the whole fit as "supportive but not restrictive". With an initial 26 degrees I felt perfectly fine but am a warm New Englander, YMMV. The fabric is a bit fluffy. During the day it got up to 55 degrees warm, I was warm but never too hot. As the men's suit sat down and stretched out, no pockets were left below the knees or in the all-important "swimsuit area". Speaking of which is absurd, the diaper in this compartment is large, stretchy but not overly large - maybe the fancy brands are a bit more compact? Yes, they definitely are. What is comedy, as they say? Well I spent 5 hours in them and didn't feel much chafing, tingling or discomfort. In fact, I forgot I was wearing something special - that's probably what you need to hear. I would like to point out here that I ride A LOT and my suspension is quite stiff and what works for me can completely disfigure your delicate parts. However, I feel the soft area was perfectly fine. Since then I've tossed them in one of those delicate laundry bags, run them through the normal heat/heat cycle, and hung them out to dry. No stickers/tags/logos ripped from the wash and everything was ready for the next trip. Lightning, which often causes fear, seems beautiful. All in all, I'm surprised and happy to get a deal like this, and if they inevitably get ripped up or something, I won't be as messy as if I spent a buck and a half on them. I think I would buy more Santic items based on their stats. I hope it helps.
