Exception to the rule
CableMod products are not new to me. I've always used the Pro Series power cords and for the most part the cords are very good. However, I had problems with SATA power supply cables. This is my first purchase of their cord extensions. They're top-notch in terms of aesthetics, but some pins have been stripped from the motherboard 24-pin expansion end connector along with the CPU expansion. These wires actually came out of the connector upon my inspection. Defective extensions were returned for a refund. Overall, I've had good results with CableMod power cords. But sometimes a lemon can be found in every mass product.
