My little dachshund put it on yesterday and it fit and I was impressed with the weight of the coat. It really does look like a winter coat unlike others claiming that. It also appears to be water resistant as it got a bit damp on the outside while the bottom stayed dry. The only thing I didn't like was the top tab that attaches to the jacket for a leash. It doesn't work for us. He backed away as the leash was attached to his coat and the coat came loose. His neck is too big even when I tug on the elastic cord so that might be an issue but it doesn't matter. I just use his regular rental contract attached to his regular collar. It was very cold outside and when I took off my coat, which is so easy to do with the zip at the top.
