Attention: My husband uses them as real handkerchiefs, not as decorative handkerchiefs. Linen is antibacterial, so it's a good choice for a reusable handkerchief. I'm fed up with the newer (poor) quality of cotton handkerchiefs that tend to shrink unevenly with washing. Although slightly smaller than traditional cotton handkerchiefs, they are still a good size. They have been washed and dried well. If you use them for decorative purposes, they need to be ironed. However, if you just put them in your pocket, everything is fine with them. I've ordered several different brands to check quality - one hasn't arrived yet - and these are my husband's favourites. Edited to add - the third set arrived and it was cheap polyester not linen. So I ordered three more of these as they were clear winners. The three originals have been washed several times and still look great.
