First Impressions *Will be updated in a few weeks*

I WILL UPDATE IN A FEW WEEKS, THIS IS A FIRST IMPRESSION. So you've settled on this monitor as a possible monitor for yourself, but there aren't any reviews for it. Well, it's my turn I guess, which is why I bought this new Dell model purely as a gamble. Virtually no reviews on any platform that sells it. I found a few bad articles about it, in general I bought it blindly. To my (genuine) surprise, the panel is actually pretty pretty, Dell did a fantastic job blowing out the backlight because there's ZERO. Your mileage may vary, but I've never owned a monitor in this price range that has absolutely no backlight. Color uniformity seems great, color rendering seems good, and brightness seems the best match. In general I am happy with it. The bezels are very thin, the monitor itself is pretty thin too. Matches my Mac mini very well in terms of fit and finish. It won't win any awards for any part of the monitor, although overall build quality is typical of a Dell monitor. Heavy base, stable stand, easy height adjustment. Really attractive kit for the price, most modern monitors I've come across tend to have a gamer aesthetic which isn't my cup of tea. Don't mind but I can't imagine watching it in 5 years time because mostly they encounter different quirks. I didn't need anything above 60Hz either, and I can't stand curved monitors, so not much choice overall. If you're in the $200 range and are looking for a big display, flat screen, and a nice bright display, I'd say it's not the game you might be thinking of. Current score is 10/10 **EDIT FOR UPDATE** 04/22/22 My first impressions are correct, I am very impressed with the overall quality of the screen. Bright enough even with a heavy matte screen finish. The base is very solid, the monitor itself doesn't wobble or wobble when typing or hitting the table. The very thin bezels are also a big plus as the screen seems to blend into the environment. Would recommend to anyone interested in a great looking screen that won't break the bank. Score: 10/10** EDIT TO UPDATE 5/12/22 (one month update) Favorite monitor I've ever had. Dell has created a lot of value with this monitor as I believe it outperforms the competition in this price range. Don't remember if I mentioned it, but it works great with my Mac Mini.
