I ordered this cable because I needed to run a wire from my house to the shed at the back of my property to support network cameras. This cable arrived and I was able to install it without any problems. I was shocked at the thickness of the insulation. It almost looks like a cable wire. It has an outer shell that appears to be very durable and able to withstand the weather. The length of the wire was 200 feet according to the markings on the cable. The first black insulation layer can be easily removed with a coax stripper. I was able to terminate the jacks at the ends with no problem. Now I did NOT bury my wire because it was so long. I figured I could just restart it if needed. It is attached to my fence and protected from prying eyes and sunlight. I wouldn't say I was rough on the installation, but I wasn't gentle either. After disabling the lines, I checked my connection with my laptop. I was able to get 1Gb/s out of that 200ft run! Now I don't use this line for POE as it's a CCA, I just had to get the data line out, the depot already has power.
