**EDIT** After a few days of wearing I can say the shoe is not as good as the boot. This will not provide stability to the boot, the Velcro will fall off and the straps will hang over the boot, creating a risk of falling. I wear them for 5 minutes after wearing the boot for 10 days. Here are my thoughts. Advantages. Much less bulky, feels *almost* like my foot is in regular shoes. Feeling of freedom for my leg, if you will - out of less noticeable - more or less comparable support faster. I would lift the boot up a bit (pun intended), but not too much. Cons - not sure about the quality. They don't seem to last very long. They came looking a little oh and after 5 minutes they look even more ehhhh - the back of the velcro is not attached. Yes. So if you lose these shoes, they are useless. I don't know why they didn't. So on each of the straps. - Under the straps, the flap that actually supports your foot has no velcro at all. That means you have to hold it with one hand to the desired tension and with the other hand try to fasten the straps to the desired tension. If you are coordinated, that's fine. If, like me, you have 2 dogs in front of you, stumble through the air, get lost in circles and always come out last at kickball, that's a problem. Photos are attached. Good luck and get well soon
