I'm not a big fan of this system; for the record i have an 18 month old moderately wet she weighs about 22 lbs and wears a size 4 smart diaper. These disposable liners definitely absorb moisture, with cloth liners we usually change diapers every 2-3 hours and they have plenty left over dry Liner on the back. Disposable pads seem to be comparable to wet/dry pads after the same amount of time, the difference being that disposable pads fold up and cause leakage in the sling pocket and (in my opinion) diaper cover soaking. The associated comfort of not having to change the cover every time is completely eliminated. With number 2 they are not very good either, since the insert folds, the loop closes.
