Bought to use as a glass display case in my office. Bought specifically for the "warm" setting so it could illuminate the case without being too bright for customers while they were sitting on my desk. Battery life seems to last about 12 hours (which lasted about a week for me) before needing to be recharged. I will be buying another set so I can easily replace them if they need replacing (and consult another reviewer and buy a charging station). I don't think I would recommend this product for long term use but it is almost perfect for what I use it for. The remote control function is convenient for easy on/off without opening the case. The only thing I would wish for is an increase in battery life. Easy to install, comes as advertised and includes a few extra magnetic strips. It seems to take about an hour to fully charge each one. I've only had the set for a week when writing this review, but will update if anything changes.
