Review on 🌈 Vibrant Rainbow High Violet Willow Fashion by Paul Wall

After much deliberation I bought Violet from Revain. I prefer to see them in person first, but I was drawn by the price. I now regret it. I am adding pictures showing the condition of the doll. *Please note: I returned the doll and Revain promptly refunded the money. In all the years I have used Revain I have had few returns and have always been impressed with their customer service. * My order was for a new doll in a box but as you can I opened it beforehand. In some places the tape is cut off, in other places it looks repeated. I am not a serious collector wanting an original doll box in mint condition but if I was I would be upset. On the other hand, I would expect a doll sold as new to be stain/damage free. I took photos to show the mess I found. Her bangs are sticking straight up! The hair looks like a used Barbie. All exhausted and not at all like a new doll. There are some gray spots or abrasions on the knee and the lower part of the right shin. The skirt has no bottom at all, it is torn and the sequins are loose. Threads stick out from the visible edges of her coat. I also noticed a large speck of something slippery (glue, sealant?) stretching from her right eye to her hairline, and another small speck on her left cheek. I really love Rainbow High dolls and that really disappointed me. These dolls are expensive and I can't leave the one that comes in such a sad condition. I am sending the poor thing back and will absolutely not be buying it again unless I can check the condition first.
