Buying custom cables can be difficult if your power supply isn't one of the few very popular and super expensive units, or impossible if your power supply isn't modular. The beauty of the Cable Mods expansion kit is that it works with any build. A major advantage of this kit over others is that it is made by a reliable company. Cable mods are the best in the business, don't worry, they use thin wires that will catch fire under heavy loads. This is a top notch kit. The kit is also complete and works with 99% of builds. I needed two 8 pin headers for the RTX 3080 and one 8 pin + 4 pin EPS header for the CPU. I also didn't want to use pigtail connectors, I wanted each connection to have its own cable. This kit did the job. This may be the most expensive kit, but you get a lot more than cheaper kits from other companies. They even throw in a few extra cord combs for good measure. The only downside I found is that the shell is thick. I had a tough time installing the NZXT RGB cable combs. Paracord would be easier. Although this is hardly a criticism.
