I didn't want a kid using my laptop for their google school class and this seems perfect. Solid computer feel. No visible damage. The battery appears to be holding a charge. Works smoothly and had no connection problems. The only issue I have is related to Chrome's parental controls. It is not possible to install account controls on a computer without using family linking. It was easy to set up a gmail account for a kid but to use the google class we had to sign in with their school email which by default is their school profile which I have no control over and there it's not on the school network, all websites are unblocked.
