I was expecting super cheap flimsy stuff but it's actually a good plastic molding, strong and even has nice screws in the base. A tiny mistake. When you insert the base into the case and screw it tight, the case will not hold the base in place. There is a little game. It's not really a big deal, especially with something like a pendant or floor lamp, but in my case (repairing a craft lamp) the flexible bulb is a bit annoying. Five stars because they're really good and I doubt too many of you fix working headlights.
