I have read many reviews of various third party HP LaserJet toner replacement products. Quality seems to vary widely as many people have leaking toner or incompatible cartridges due to HP's efforts to fight genuine toner. However, I ordered the value toner set and installed it right away and everything works great. If you buy a compatible toner, make sure you install the full set right away to ensure everything works and within the "warranty" period. The printer will indicate that a non-HP toner cartridge is installed, but this does not affect quality or performance in any way.
