Well the quality isn't the best but the price is cheap - $11 a suit so I wasn't expecting much. Our kids are all going to be pirates on Halloween, so of course they wanted to include their pets in the fun. When we opened the XL package, we shook our heads because we couldn't stuff our hefty, 75-pound Samoyed thicket inside. When my husband found out that the suit was so cheap (and that I would definitely find another, more expensive option if it didn't fit), he went out of his way to get her the suit on. Oliver the cat was unimpressed but obeyed as we fed him turkey the whole time we put him in the costume. He weighs 8 pounds and we bought a medium. It fits well. We didn't want to tempt fate, so we didn't try the hat on. Seri, our Samoyed, is older and (after years of dressing up) likes us to stuff him into the costume. All in all a great purchase and we laughed a lot.
