Review on Evron Mounting Install Striped Pattern by Christina Smith

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Pretty flimsy for corner shelves

This is a pretty flimsy cheap plastic shelf. I'd probably say both should cost $5. The plastic will warp a little under a couple of pounds (probably 4 pounds). I could see this deformation over time if you leave the item there for a while. It's not bad for what it does, but the overall quality doesn't make it worth the $10 price tag. Installation was pretty easy: use a leveling rod, mark the walls with a pencil, drill holes for the dowels (pretty cheap dowels as they bend very easily, make sure you drive them in gently), and twist Then insert the screws about 50% so that the screws sag a little to hold the shelf, place the shelf on the screws and tighten the screws. Also note that it is not possible to flush mount this wall unless the corners of a wall are 90 degrees - this is one of the problems I have encountered. I had to create spacers between the plastic shelf and the wall to help with the spacing (plastic washers). Also, don't over-tighten the screws since they're plastic. I see it breaks easily once you've done it. Overall cheap shelves (both in price and quality). I doubt it can hold 10 pounds for an extended period of time without deforming much. This will work for my purposes but may not be the best for others. The lighter the items you place here, the better. If you need 10lbs of weight held by these shelves I would probably look elsewhere if you have the budget.
