I had a similar diaper pail once that worked great. This one is now worth about $200. So I ordered this one. It's half the size, so not much fits. And my cloth diapers get stuck when I try to throw them in the bucket. So I have to use it more like a conventional bucket. If I can manage to get them in without them getting caught in the hinged lid then maybe 7 will fit? Diapers before it stops. I can fit more in if I lift the lid and place them that way, but that defeats the purpose of this diaper pail style. I wash diapers every 2-3 days. After two it's completely full, and on a third I leave the lid open. If he uses it as directed, he will stop diapering by the end of the first day. There haven't been many diapers in my washing machine for two days, so we don't talk much. All in all this is a disappointment.
