The first tablet in the family was a Samsung Note 10.1, and I purchased an iPad as a second tablet for the family. If you compare the two tablets, the Samsung Note 10.1 has several advantages over the iPad, including the ability to easily download any content through a computer, a larger screen with a higher resolution, which makes it more enjoyable to watch movies on it, and the presence of a memory card slot. The battery life, the weight (which affects mobility), the smoothness of the operating system itself, the Android store (which isn't terrible but is inferior to the app store), and the size of the screen are all drawbacks. In terms of performance, I did not see a significant difference between these two tablets, despite the fact that the Samsung tablet has four cores and two gigabytes of RAM, while the iPad only has two cores and 512 megabytes. Now that I've had some experience with this model, I'm debating whether or not to upgrade to the next iteration of the iPad mini due to the fact that the drawbacks of this model are not present in the iPad mini 2.
