I usually prefer leather because it looks better, is softer and lasts for years. Therefore, I rarely buy artificial leather products. I'd rather have a good leather piece than some cheap fake fashion pieces that rip etc. But I needed a laptop case for offsite work meetings that looked professional and didn't have the money to spend on a leather case. The bag lives up to its good reviews. It looks great and is well designed. Looks stylish and professional. I went with blue and it's very pretty. It is packaged very nicely (with guards around all metal parts and zips) making it a very suitable gift. Mine had room for a 15-inch laptop, as well as additional accessories like a power adapter, space for documents, and a few (letter-sized) binders. It doesn't look flattened or chunky at all. The company did a great job with the bag. The zippers are smooth and don't look cheap. I really thought it looked more expensive than what I paid for.
