Review on Dinnerware Danmers: 18-Piece Resistant Service Set for Ultimate Durability by Shane Black

I wish Corelle had made black glassware because most dishes look so beautiful against a black background. So I was very happy when I came across this Danmers set, made from the same material that Corelle is made from, durable fused glass. They arrived today in perfect condition - no chips or defects. I'm confused by some of the reviews that say they appear to be thinner than the Corelle as mine appear to be slightly thicker and heavier. Let's assume it's for the best. Other reviewers also noted that the bowls are small. I think the bowls are a very good size, perfect for a decent portion of cereal, ice cream or small salads. In fact, they appear to be taller and deeper than Corelle's crockery bowls. Larger bowls are not usually included in dinnerware sets. I often eat from large plates, but I'm sure I'll benefit a lot from it. So far I am more than satisfied with this set. Thank you Danmers!
