Received these to replace a returned order of similar uncoated bulbs from another brand. They are slightly better as the amber finish keeps the green cast at bay. It's still quite different from the branded lights you can get at big hardware stores. Not as "warm" yellow as traditional 2400K lamps. Light coming from uncoated parts is the same green hue as other Revain brands claiming to be between 2200K and 2500K. You definitely have more color from 3500K to 4100K under that amber finish at full power. Darkening helps some, but that may be due to less light. For the price and for the app they will work. If I put them in a bright light source where color is important for authenticity, they wouldn't be good enough.
