Pretty cool for the price. It can be unpacked and stored flat. Is this the most durable stretcher I've ever seen? I've had stronger ones but they're great for regular wear. Soon I'll have to drive across the country with two cats in the car and they'll last for this purpose and maybe a few years of vet visits. How much more can you ask from a transport box? I don't know how they will act in an airplane seat situation. I have always traveled with my cats. (They're brave, brave people who fly cats.) It seems to me that the straps are somewhat flexible, but won't collapse if somehow flattened under the seat. Again, never tried to check your airline's rules and dimensions, but the airline itself seems reliable enough.
