SANDISK CONFUSION : UN- Confused! Read 1000's of reviews it won't change anything because the sad fact is: A. Memory card damage is 99% user error: format in camera, use a good quality CF card reader, don't play if you're running Windows 10 use. Make sure you removed the card. WINDOWS KNOWS THIS PROBLEM, BUT EVEN IF YOU REMOVE THE B4 Eject CF CARD, by default you block it. SanDisk and even Lexar still offer incredible guarantees on their cards. Buy one of these two. BUT DON'T BE PRO, HOLD UP 5D users, SanDisk has a problem and it's not the name of the speed. In year B4 this card, Extreme Pro, had 80MBt write speed, it's 120, newer cards are 200+ BUT your camera can only write so fast, card speed doesn't matter after a certain point! Maps aren't slow, your cameras are picking up speed! My Nikon D4 shoots uncompressed 14-bit RAW for 60 shots without writing to the card. And 5D is not but faster cards 2 does not affect that for 90% of all cameras this card is faster than it can write files by clearing the buffer. 128G is 4K video recording though, if you're even close to full recording a 64G card while recording, sorry, but even my D-810 twins with 36.3MPX FX CAN SHARE a 64G card, i use them for video sizes. And for that, CF has been the best technology in a long time, the fastest, the most reliable, I'm a 25-year veteran, please TRUST ME. EDITED 6/7/19 Still using 2 128G cards as a clock! Read no more! EXTREME PRO, that's what they say, should be the fastest, right? Simple Sandisk overtakes the shark every time it reaches top speed. I have Extreme Pro 45mbs cards, THIS one lives up to its name, keep reading! I do not endorse free, discounted or otherwise items unless I use them myself, that's the point. I can't play with dubious CF cards! A. This is an incredibly fast and reliable card that has replaced the CF slot card (Lexar 32G 1066xPro) and matches my Lexar XQD 2933x card {in my D4}, it holds its own. In fact, I'd say it's marginally slower, if at all; "At write speed after clearing the cache." Every camera has a buffer, my old D4 had a buffer upgrade which was standard on the D4 making {, note * buffer capacity depends on all settings except (raw1+joeg2 - which is weird to me, but that's the point). So IE: When I touch the Focus button (Shutter for most of you, BBFocus for samplers) I see the remaining photo capacity (number of shots before I have to write to the card, although it starts immediately), I have 52 I can get it up to 60+, or with D-lighting active, noise reduction, ISO noise reduction, etc. @ 42. If I press the shutter button and clear the cache (which is a priority on each card) after filling, my camera buffer slows down from 10 frames per second to 1.2. Normally** the XQD card will start freeing more cache, allowing (continuous shooting) 5 more frames stopping at 100. With today's Nikon glass (Canon Sony etc.) and focus precision, you'll never have to shoot again. The speed of this card. My Lexar 32G 1066x was 160Mbps, the high end is 120Mbps, I can't tell the difference. Windows 10 users. I strongly recommend NEVER UPLOADING PICTURES FROM A CAMERA CONNECTED VIA USB PROTOCOL. I've been using San/Lexar for 25 years, lost 1 card due to card reader setup, Windows 10, Lexar 1066x ($150 with purchase). idk why, but i also lost 2, TWO hard drives (external) so i would say it's windows.
