This is an instant return for me. I'm very suspicious of the rave reviews for this product as it just isn't very good and doesn't even come close to being a viable alternative to the Apple charger. Having tried Apple's Magsafe at the Apple Store, I know what it's like when the charger plugs into the phone, which it doesn't. It should be an instant and very strong mount that stays securely on the back of the phone and won't move unless some sort of force is applied. This Yootech charger doesn't have the nice click and strong magnetic hold that Apple has. It doesn't even stay in place when on a call - the magnet isn't strong enough to keep it in place, so it rotates and the cord just comes into your hand. It's really annoying. As far as charging speed goes, it's incredibly disappointing as it's the standard 7.5W that we've been able to get from any standard Qi charger for years, meaning it's half the speed of the 15W -Charge from Apple. It doesn't offer any additional charging benefits in terms of speed. I'm not sure what the point of releasing a Magsafe charger if it doesn't use real technology. The whole thing is a wireless charger that's a little more portable than a standard Qi Pad. Finally, it's clear from the images that this is a bigger and uglier version of Apple's version, but in person the difference is pretty stark. This thing is pretty massive, and considering it's twice the size but charges twice as fast, buying an Apple charger for twice the amount you'd spend on this thing sounds like a steal. It's just not a great product, and the only reason it seems popular is because it's the only third-party "alternative" put out by the company everyone's heard of. I would not recommend this to anyone who really wants to use Magsafe. I will buy from Apple and I encourage anyone considering a purchase to do the same.
