This is a great monitor for its price range. I have an older ASUS VN289H and both are side by side. The VN279Q is crisper, sharper and has much less eye flare. I highly recommend this monitor. I'm leaving 3 stats because the ASUS monitor discount program is a joke. The discount was denied because I allegedly did not include all of the original barcodes when in fact I did provide all of them as they were not all clearly marked. The entire program is designed to defer or reject as many chargebacks as possible. By charging a 10% fee for faster delivery of debit card rebates, it helps the incentive program even more. This is a large foreign company with over a hundred thousand customers, so they don't focus on customer service. In the end I like their products and price and will continue to buy from them but don't buy your device because of the discount.
