It does what it's supposed to do, but dammit, wrapping it around a big mattress is a job. I wrestled with this for about 30 minutes to get a mattress in. Then I hooked up my big vacuum cleaner to suck out the air. This continued for another 20 minutes or so. Closing the zipper is very difficult and requires several attempts. As a tip, leave the vacuum plugged in and running while you roll up the mattress, which is like wrestling with a sumo wrestler, by the way. If left plugged in and running, the mattress will not inflate again due to all the little holes in the pocket or zipper. Once you've rolled it up, try tightening the straps while the vacuum is still running. Once you've secured the straps, you can remove the vacuum cleaner. After a few minutes it will swell up and look like an XXL girl wearing XS spandex. I'm currently scared of what will happen if I let go of the straps.
